Workero will be at Mipim Proptech 2019 in Paris alongside Alexander Taft of Invesco, Charles Boudet, Managing Director of JLL and many other pioneers in the industry.

Workero is proud to be a part of Mipim PropTech 2019, taking place on July 1-2 in Paris.

Discover the Workero stand in the Sponsors Business Lounge, Zone 01 Place B02, where we’ll be presenting our digital service and give live demos of our  product.

So far, we have opened 24 Workero locations across Belgium in four months. During Mipim Proptech 2019, we will announce the opening of another 40 new locations in Italy, Romania and in Belgium. As our client base grows steadily with corporate customers, we are preparing  the  launch of the brand new Workero at Procter & Gamble in their Brussels Headquarters!

Workero has obtained the Seal of Excellence of the European Commission and has been recently accepted in the comprehensive Horizon 2020 Program, SME Instrument for funding by the European Commission. We are now preparing to scale internationally, so MIPIM PropTech EU is the perfect place for us to meet future investors.

After the Keynote speech of Rudy Aernoudt, Chief Economist of the European Commission, our CEO Dirk Paelinck will speak at the main stage on July 2, as one of the members of the panel about scaling and the stake of talent management, alongside Alexander Taft, CEO of Invesco, Charles  Boudet, Managing Director of JLL and Sebastian Abigail, Senior Director at VTS. At the closing of the event on July 2, we will also co-organise the finals of the PropTech StartUp Europe Awards.

The PropTech StartUp Europe Awards is a brand-new category within the StartUp Europe Awards’ framework (22 categories), promoted by the European Commission and implemented by Finnova Foundation, Workero and the EU PropTech House. This presents a prize methodology for startups at a local, regional and national level, and fosters open innovation and collaboration between the different actors of the European ecosystems, through the private-public partnership supporting new entrepreneurs. At the same time, it creates a network of contacts that will provide visibility to all the local startups who, by using this network, will be able to scale their services and products at a European and even global level.

Out of 300-some applicants, 50 European Proptech startups were selected to participate in the semi-finals of the PropTech StartUp Europe Awards on May 6th in Brussels. It was a day of pitching in front of the 35 members of our professional international jury.

But it was also a day for networking, interactive workshops on EU funding opportunities. We also hosted Rudy Aernoudt, Chief Economist of the European Commission who shared the brand new EU strategies with us and funding programs to support the European PropTech startups and scale-ups. Massimiliano Dragoni, Senior Policy Officer, Digital Innovation & Blockchain, DG Connect, European Commission, gave us insights about the programs and the available support to PropTech startups and scale-ups, as well as the vision of the EU on the future of blockchain in Europe.

10 finalists were picked out of a very strong field of innovative startups. 1 overall winner will be awarded the title of StartUp Europe Proptech Winner of 2018 at MIPIM PropTech EU 2019.

This award was co-founded by our CEO Dirk Paelinck, who’s also at the helm of Interoffices the largest independent business center provider in Belgium.

Our intention, vision, and product closely aligns with the vision of the MIPIM PropTech EU. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to become a Gold Sponsor. We’ll present our groundbreaking concept of Integrated Workspace Management Software. We’ll be available for questions about all things PropTech. And we’ll explain how one can become one of our partners.
